Lecture recording

Record automatically – straight from the lecture hall.

The largest lecture halls at KIT are equipped with technology that records your event without any further effort. Here you can find out how it works and how to activate recording for your event.

Schedule a recording How it works

The Media Centre of the KIT Library runs the automated lecture recording at KIT. Lecturers schedule the recording of their event in the portal; the finished videos are then available for publication (for example in ILIAS).

In three steps

  1. Sign in – with your KIT account in the portal. Your events come from the campus management system.
  2. Schedule the recording – select the event and activate the dates you want.
  3. Done – the equipment in the lecture hall records automatically at the scheduled time. You do not have to operate anything.
